'Workiz’ is a B2B2C that serves small and medium businesses working in the home service field. Using VOIP technology, Workiz also provides call-center, IVR, and call-tracking capabilities for business owners.
The Challenge
To cater to diverse client needs, the sales team expended significant effort in customizing specialized software packages for each customer, resulting in considerable time consumption.

The Challenge
Workiz offers a complex yet highly customizable product, serving a wide array of service professionals, including locksmiths, HVAC technicians, handymen, junk removal specialists, and carpet cleaners.
A key challenge we faced was the need to synthesize data regarding client requirements and feature requests by business type, as well as identifying which features were most relevant to specific companies. Other influencing parameters included variations in business size, unique workflows, distinct roles, and integration requirements.
Meeting Key Insight
In response to these challenges, we opted for a "pay and go" approach. We established fixed prices for each add-on, allowing users to select and purchase individual or multiple add-ons based on their specific needs.
Competitors Research
To inform our approach, I conducted extensive research, analyzed industry best practices, compared different products, and observed potential solutions.
